In practice, a Paris – Nice in a turboprop costs €6,900 to €10,100 one way for 1h 54m of flight; a London – Dubai starts at €49,300 for 6h 52m.

For the whole aircraft. A 6-seat jet costs the same with 1 or 6 passengers: the price per seat drops as you fill it.

The aircraft and crew, fuel, landing and parking fees, handling and light catering on board. Passenger taxes, special catering, transfers and winter de-icing are itemised on the firm quote.

No. It is a range computed from distance, flight time and market hourly rates, recalibrated every quarter against real operator offers. The firm price depends on the aircraft available on the chosen day: a broker confirms it within the hour.

Because demand changes. A flight to Nice during the Monaco Grand Prix, to Ibiza in August or to the Alps on a February Saturday costs a few percent more than a weekday off season. The adjustment applied is shown under the result.

Rarely exactly double. If the aircraft stays and flies back with you, positioning is billed only once: that is what makes a round trip cheaper than 2 one-ways. Departing from an airport where operators base aircraft, there is no positioning to save and the round trip comes to twice the flight time. Route pages show both prices.

Not necessarily. A broker earns a commission included in the price, but consults several operators and picks an aircraft already positioned near your departure, which avoids paying for positioning; a single operator only offers its own fleet, wherever it happens to be. At NX Jets the quote is an all-inclusive price, with no fees added afterwards.

On a common European route, departing 3 to 4 hours after confirmation is possible if an aircraft is available nearby. To or from the UK, the passenger manifest must be filed at least 2 hours before departure. For an intercontinental flight, a peak date or a slot-controlled airport, allow 24 to 72 hours, more when overflight or landing permits are needed (some destinations in Asia or the Middle East). Booking earlier widens the choice of aircraft and prices. Depending on the state of Middle East airspace, a Europe – Gulf flight may route further south: allow 30 to 45 minutes more than the great-circle time.

No. The calculator is open to everyone, with no account and no sales call. Payment only happens after you approve the firm quote.

Yes, under the operator's terms, written on every quote before signature. The most common pattern: free cancellation until about 72 hours before departure outside peak periods, then steps (for instance 25%, 50%) and up to 100% within the last 24 to 48 hours. On peak dates and some one-way flights the free window closes far earlier (sometimes at signature) or does not exist at all. A same-day schedule change is often still possible.

A repositioning flight: the aircraft has to move before or after a client flight, and the operator would rather sell it at a discount than fly empty. Up to 75% off, on a fixed date, time and route. Yes. Helicopter transfers (Nice – Monaco in 7 minutes, Geneva – Courchevel, Paris – Deauville), cargo charter for urgent or outsize freight, and group flights, from 16 to over 200 passengers. Details are on the Services page.

15 to 30 minutes before departure, 30 to 45 for an international flight with customs formalities. Private flights leave from a dedicated terminal (FBO): no queues, you give your name at the desk and the crew walks you to the aircraft. Arriving much earlier serves no purpose, the crew is still preparing the aircraft.

A valid ID for a domestic or Schengen flight, a passport (and visa where required) for an international one. Exact passenger names are sent to the operator before the flight for the manifest.

It depends on the hold and on the maximum take-off weight, which the captain checks before every flight. As a rule of thumb: a light jet hold is 1.8 to 2.4 m³, so one suitcase and one carry-on per passenger, soft-sided if you can, volume and shape decide before weight. A midsize takes a medium suitcase and a carry-on each, a heavy or long-range jet several pieces. At full fuel on a long leg the payload shrinks. Skis, golf clubs and instruments should be mentioned at quote stage so we pick an aircraft that fits them.

Yes, in the cabin, with most operators. Mention it when requesting the quote: some charge nothing, others bill a cleaning fee. Within the European Union the animal travels with its EU pet passport, microchip and up-to-date rabies vaccination; outside the EU the destination country's entry rules apply and can take several weeks to prepare. Into the UK in particular you need an animal health certificate less than 10 days old, tapeworm treatment given 24 to 120 hours before entry, and an operator approved to carry pets.

Yes. Light catering is included; special catering (dietary requirements, children's meals) is ordered at quote stage. An infant under 2 may travel on a lap if the aircraft carries a loop belt: not every business jet does. Otherwise the child takes a seat, with a restraint device accepted by the operator, which you bring.

The operator offers a later slot or a replacement aircraft of equivalent category; the broker handles the swap on your behalf. If no solution works, the refund follows the operator's terms, set out in your contract: a technical or weather cancellation normally gives a full refund.

A certified air operator holding an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued by its own civil aviation authority, under the European rules for a European operator. NX Jets is a broker: we select the operator and the aircraft, and the contract names the operator and registration before the flight.

On their certificate, their audits (ARGUS, Wyvern, IS-BAO depending on their market), fleet age and maintenance, crew experience and our own track record with them. An operator who has let a client down is not consulted again.

Under 2.5 hours of flight, a turboprop costs a little less than a very light jet, with twice the seats; up to 7 passengers and 2 hours of flight, a light jet is enough. Beyond roughly 3,000 nautical miles or 10 passengers, you need a heavy or long-range jet; above 16 passengers, a VIP airliner. The calculator offers every category able to fly the route in one go, cheapest first.

Yes, and the broker will tell you whether it is available on your date. Within a category, we recommend staying open on the model: that is what lets us pick the best-placed, best-priced aircraft.

When you approve the quote and before the flight, as with any on-demand charter: the operator locks in the aircraft and crew once payment is received.
